History:

2009: CNBC celebrates Goldline's expansion beyond 200 employees with a live interview at its Santa Monica, CA headquarters.
Goldline's Executive Vice President, Scott Carter, appears on Fox Business Network and discusses gold's record highs and the long term outlook.
Goldline ranks the 32nd largest privately-held company headquartered in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
2008: Goldline becomes the exclusive precious metals sponsor of The Glenn Beck Radio Program. Goldline featured on CNBC with a live interview on site at its headquarters in the Los Angeles suburb.
2007: Goldline moves its headquarters and trading floor across Santa Monica, California to 23,000+ square foot offices at the prestigious Water Garden complex.
2005: Goldline is granted exclusivity to sell the first Binion Casino $10,000 notes independently graded by PMG and PCGS Currency.
2004: Goldline is chosen to distribute gold and silver coins from the S.S. Republic.
2003: Goldline completes the sale of the Atlantic Collection notes to its clients.
2002: Goldline acquires the Nineteenth Century Large-Sized U.S. paper currency of the Atlantic Collection.
2001: Goldline is chosen to become the exclusive distributor for both the Binion Collection of silver dollars and the Nevada Silver Collection of Walking Liberty silver half-dollars.
1998: Goldline acquires Dreyfus Precious Metals, Inc., the precious metal brokerage and storage subsidiary of the Dreyfus Corporation.
1997: Goldline begins marketing the Wells Fargo® Nevada Gold Collection of 1908 "No Motto" $20 Saint-Gaudens gold pieces.
1994: Goldline acquires Gold & Silver Emporium (asset purchase only). Joseph C. Battaglia joins Goldline as Executive Vice President.
1992: Deak International Goldline (US) Ltd. changed its name to "Goldline International, Inc." (Goldline). Mark Albarian joins Goldline as its President. Robert Fazio moves to California to remain with the newly formed Goldline and become its Vice President.
1991: Thomas Cook sells Deak International Goldline (US) Ltd.
1988: Deak and Company sells Deak International Goldline (US) Ltd. to the Thomas Cook (travelers check) group.
1987: DIS changes its name to Deak International Goldline Ltd.
1986: Robert Fazio joins Deak International Goldline (US) Ltd.
1960: Nicholas Deak of Deak and Company forms Deak Investor Services, Inc. (DIS).

Officers and Selected Management:

Mark Albarian, President & C.E.O.
Mark Albarian attended the University of California at Berkeley and at Los Angeles (1978-1983) with a double major in Economics and Political Science.

From 1983 to 1984, Mr. Albarian was Assistant Vice President in the Numismatic Department of West Coast Bank. From 1984-1986, he was Vice President of Valley State Bank Collateral Loan Division. From 1986-1991, he was founding partner of a successful Los Angeles based rare coin and precious metals company.

Mark Albarian has been a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1980. He worked as a numismatic consultant from 1979-1983 for various rare coin firms before joining Goldline as its President in January 1992. He is a Contributor to "A Guide Book of United States Coins" (also known as the "Red Book") and has been interviewed by national media outlets that include the Associated Press, CNBC, Christian Science Monitor, the Denver Post, Las Vegas Review-Journal, TheStreet.com, Topeka Capital-Journal, and the Washington Post.

Robert J. Fazio, Executive Vice President
Robert Fazio graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York in 1986 with a major in Communication Arts. He is a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA).

Mr. Fazio has traded precious metals professionally since 1986. He worked with Deak International Goldline Limited/Deak International Goldline (US) Ltd. from 1986-1991 prior to A-Mark's purchase of Deak International Goldline, (US) Ltd. Mr. Fazio became Vice President at Goldline International, Inc., in 1992.

Scott Carter, Executive Vice President
Mr. Carter has over 25 years of management experience within the financial services sector. He has served on multiple insurance company boards within the P&C industry. Most recently, Mr. Carter was the President of Unitrin Direct Insurance, a property and casualty insurance company marketing products countrywide through multiple distribution channels. Unitrin Direct serves over 200,000 policyholders with approximately $500 million in revenues. Prior to this role, Mr. Carter held positions as President of American Horizon Holding Company and as a Director at Allstate Insurance Company.

Mr. Carter is a Regent for Trinity International University and is a former board member of the Woodrow Wilson Council in Washington, DC. Mr. Carter serves on many civic boards within the Chicago area.

Mr. Carter is a graduate of Valparaiso University and holds his graduate degree from Lake Forest College.

Joseph C. Battaglia, American Advisor Host
Joe Battaglia received his BA at the University of Southern California, an LLB from Loyola Law School, and practiced law from 1966 to 1979. He received the Coin Dealer "Man of the Year Award" in 1988.

Mr. Battaglia joined Goldline in February 1994 hosting Goldline's The American Advisor radio program.

Joseph P. Ozaki, Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer
Joe Ozaki graduated from California State University at Long Beach in 1978 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Finance. He also attended UCLA with course emphasis in Computer Science.

Mr. Ozaki joined the A-Mark group in April 1985 and has over 20 years of experience in real estate, financial, and metals companies in various positions including Director of Operations, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer.

Joel Gabrelow, Vice President Numismatics
Joel Gabrelow attended the University of California at Los Angeles from 1973-1977 where he majored in Economics.

From 1976-1981, Mr. Gabrelow was the owner of a successful Los Angeles based rare coin and precious metal business. From 1982 to 1984, he was Vice President in the Numismatic Lending Department at West Coast Bank, the first bank in the country to make collateral loans on rare coins. From 1984-1986, Mr. Gabrelow was Senior Vice President of Valley State Bank Collateral Loan Division. From 1986-1990, he was founding partner of a successful Los Angeles based rare coin and precious metals company. From 1990-2007, Mr. Gabrelow was the CEO of a Ventura County based Electronics Contract Manufacturing company.

Joel Gabrelow has been a life member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1982. Joel Gabrelow joined Goldline as its Director of Numismatics in May, 2008.

Luis Beeli, Vice President Account Executive Recruitment and Support
Luis Beeli serves as Goldline International Inc.'s Vice President Account Executive Recruitment and Support. Before joining Goldline, Mr. Beeli had extensive sales experience working with such companies as MicroStrategy and Alta Vista.

Mr. Beeli graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge, with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. While attending Cal State, Northridge, he was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society, Honors CO-OP, and a three time recipient of the HMSC High Performance Team Award.

Carol Taylor, Vice President Compliance
Carol Taylor attended California State University at Northridge (1971 -1975) majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

From 1996 until 2008, Ms. Taylor was the President and CFO of a contract manufacturing company supplying custom-designed products to high-tech companies. From 1992 to 1996, she served as a senior executive of a national organization providing securities arbitration consulting services to individual investors. In 1986, Ms. Taylor founded and managed, until its sale in 1992, a gourmet gift company with significant export business. From 1978 to 1986, Ms. Taylor served as CFO of an investment management firm.

Carol Taylor has been active in a number of community organizations including serving nine years on the Board of Directors (Past Chair) of the Economic Development Corporation of Oxnard. Ms. Taylor also served on the Ventura County Civic Alliance and co-chaired the organization's Workforce Education Committee.

Keyth Pengal, Vice President Operations
Keyth Pengal joined Goldline in 2005 as Director of Operations after serving as the Operations Manager for TimeWarner’s WarnerElecktraAtlantic Division where he directed operations for a 200+ employee facility.

Mr. Pengal obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Mr. Pengal attended Roosevelt University on an Academic Scholarship and graduated summa cum laude.

Stuart Hong, Vice President Controller
Stuart Hong joined Goldline in 2006 after serving in senior financial management positions with several companies in the merchandising industry. In addition, from 1995-1999, Mr. Hong was a partner in a high-profile personal training facility in Los Angeles. From 1979-1989, he worked as a Senior Audit Manager for KPMG.

Mr. Hong graduated with high honors from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Management. He is a licensed CPA in the states of California and Hawaii.

Lisa Weedman, Director of Business Affairs
Lisa Weedman joined Goldline International Inc. in 1996. Ms. Weedman has served as Client Services Manager and Director of Administration before being promoted to Director of Business Affairs in 2006. Her duties include client relations, marketing and telemarketing compliance.

Ms.Weedman received her Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University where she majored in Economics. She has also had extensive coursework and experience in the areas of Human Resources, Sales, and Employee Benefits.
