Goldline is pleased to offer this deluxe set in conjunction with the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters' Program. This set includes brand new uncirculated quarters released by the U. S. Mint ' one for each state released to date. So far 31 quarters have been released - from Delaware to California (see list below). You will also receive a brown leatherette coin album with gold embosed title to house and display one coin for all 50 states.
Design of the Commemorative State Quarters Album
The obverse of the new state quarters feature a George Washington design that differs slightly from the one that has been featured on all quarters since 1932. The words 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA' arc above Washington's head, while the word 'LIBERTY' has been moved to the viewer's left of Washington. To the right appears the motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST', and the words 'QUARTER DOLLAR' rest below.
The reverse designs commemorate one of the fifty states, whose name and date of admission to the Union appear at the top. The date of issue and the phrase 'E PLURIBUS UNUM' lie at the bottom. Each state's governor receives the nominations and, once the U.S. Mint has determined the design's coinability, selects the final design.
