This currency collection may be the largest collection of unused 19th century U.S. paper money in the world. Much of this currency's history remains a mystery. What is known, however, is that this collection of uncirculated notes were the only items stored in a bank vault in a state on the Eastern seaboard.

This collection contains silver Morgan and Peace silver dollars owned by casino mogul Ted Binion. The Binion Collection generated tremendous media attention and renewed interest in the rare coin market. These coins were minted from 1878 through 1935, excluding the years when the government discontinued minting silver coins due to a lack of silver bullion.

Mark Salzberg, president of Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, called this collection of Walking Liberty Half-Dollars "THE finest group of 20th century silver coins I have ever examined!" This collection of high-grade United States Liberty Walking silver half-dollars is surrounded by mystery. Their story, their owner, and even the location of the sale of these coins all remain unknown.

Many of these 1857-S $20 Liberty gold coins have survived in miraculous condition, seemingly preserved by the salt water which surrounded them for over a century.

For over a century, the gold and silver coins carried on this ship were believed lost off the coast of Georgia. Through the remarkable efforts of professional treasure hunters, these graded $10 and $20 Liberty Gold coins were recovered and made available to the general public. Prior to their discovery, few had ever dreamed such a collection of $20 Saint-Gaudens gold coins could still exist in such outstanding condition. All coins are high-grade 1908 "No Motto" $20 gold coins.
