Why I Expect Large Gains For Selected 19th and 20th Century 20 Franc Gold Coins

by Mark Albarian
President & CEO Goldline International, Inc.

There are a number of reasons why investors need to own gold. Many of these reasons center around the fact that gold is a safe haven asset. Those reasons include: the current volatile market for stocks, an increasing threat of terrorism, enormous trade and budget deficits, the potential for deflation, and an increasing potential for an international debt crisis.

There are also profit potential reasons to invest in gold. Clearly, gold has upside potential to its previous record high of $850 an ounce. Some analysts, such as Richard Russell, are predicting that gold is likely to rise as high as $3000 an ounce. Therefore, it seems clear that gold has a great long term outlook. However, even in the short term, gold also offers excellent potential. Over the past 12 months, gold has risen about 15% and has substantially outperformed stocks. With bank deposits yielding very low rates, many investors will prefer gold to bank deposits, or cash in their safe deposit box.

If you agree with me that gold has excellent upside potential and is a desirable asset, then the next question is what form of gold to invest in. Goldline offers every gold coin, from the most common bullion coins like Kugerrands, Maple Leafs and American Eagles, to the rarest of rare coins, including gold coins from historic and specialized collections such as Wells Fargo Nevada Gold.

However, we find that most first time investors choose the European 20 franc size gold coins as their first gold investment. These coins offer a number of features and benefits that are attractive to first time investors. These include affordability, financial privacy and the potential to be exempt from confiscation. Perhaps most importantly for first time investors the 20 franc is offered with a seven day, absolutely unconditional money back guarantee. This provides the comfort and assurance of knowing that you will receive your coins in a timely fashion, and that you will be satisfied with them when you receive them.

Here are some important reasons every investor should own some gold coins, specifically historic 20 franc gold coins…

1. Uncertainty in Our Financial Markets

With a weak economy and layoffs in the news, the outlook for financial assets like stocks is shaky. Tech, auto, bank and media stocks have already fallen sharply – even the so-called “Blue Chips.” Lucent, the old Bell Laboratories, has fallen from $70 to $1. Ford was once worth more than $30 per share, now it is under $10. General Electric shares have lost more than half of their value. J.P. Morgan-Chase, one of the nation’s largest banks, was once over $50. Recently, it fell below $15.

A weak economy, falling stock prices and uncertainty about the future have hurt common stock investors and retirement accounts like IRA’s and 401-k’s. These factors are propelling a growing number of investors to add 20 franc gold coins to their holdings as a gold diversification. They know their gold coins will always be a valuable asset, which is more than can be said about some common stocks.

2. Rising Impact of The War On Terrorism

Our newspapers and media reports are filled with news about our nation’s overt and covert operations in the war against rogue states and terror cells. The threat of a war and terrorism increases tensions and anxieties – and the demand for gold. I expect the threat of terrorism to be with the U.S. for many years. These fears are bullish for gold.

3. Low Interest Rates

“Cash has never been as seemingly wretched an option as now,” said Tom Petruno in the Los Angeles Times (Nov. 10, 2002). Savings accounts, Certificates of Deposit and Treasury Bills are currently earning less than 2 percent per year – the lowest return in our lifetime. That means, Petruno points out, today’s savers are actually losing money after taxes and inflation.

With interest-earning accounts losing value, assets that offer substantial profit potential look very attractive. Remember, gold is the safest form of money.

4. Gold's Favorable Price & Cycle Position

Gold peaked above $850 per ounce in 1980. For 22 years, as common stocks appreciated, it was out of favor. Now stocks are falling in value and gold’s luster as an under-valued and under-priced investment is getting brighter. Gold has recently bottomed – and many analysts are forecasting sharply higher prices for the years ahead. Richard Russell, James Sinclair and others expect gold to rise to $1000 and possibly as high as $3000. A bull market in gold will cause the value of 20 franc coins to rise dramatically. Investors should acquire 20 franc coins now, while they’re still affordable.

5. More Affordable

When compared with the slightly heavier, much scarcer U.S. $5 gold coins of the same era and grade at around $350, 20 franc gold coins at less than $100 per coin are a more affordable way to build your gold holdings.

6. Easy to Acquire

Goldline makes it easy for investors to add affordable gold coins to their holdings. Simply call toll-free 1-800-827-4653 to reserve your selections. For your convenience, Goldline accepts checks, and major credit cards. Additionally, your assets will be safely delivered to you or stored if you preferred. The choice is entirely yours.

I believe that selected 20 franc gold coins will be among the leaders as gold bullion and the coin market move to higher levels in the years ahead. They are a potentially profitable financial diversification. They embody the history and monetary freedom of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. And, they’re a golden privacy shield to help protect you and your savings from unforeseen volatility and risk. Best of all, these affordable gold coins offer enormous upside potential based on where they were at their historic highs. The long-term gains could be staggering!

Prepare Today

Uncirculated 20 franc gold coins are available in 60 coin tubes (or half tubes of 30 coins) at a fraction of their all-time market high values. That means you can acquire them today while they’re close to their cycle lows. I strongly recommend that you acquire a few tubes of Uncirculated 20 franc gold coins today. That way you’ll be prepared when global trends push values to sharply higher levels.
