First Special Service Force: Product Info

Properly designated as the 1st Special Service Force, the Devil's Brigade was a joint World War II American-Canadian commando unit trained at Fort Harrison near Helena, Montana in the United States. Many modern American and Canadian Special Forces units trace their heritage to this unit.

The Royal Canadian Mint has issued a stunning 1/2 ounce and 3/4 ounce silver bullion coin to commemorate these fearless commandos. Composed of .9999 fine silver, these coins are eligible for inclusion in precious IRAs and are guaranteed by the Royal Canadian Mint for their weight and purity.

Obverse: The First Special Service Force coin features the bust of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.

Reverse: The reverse displays an American Star and Canadian Maple Leaf bracketing the First Special Service Force insignia: a spearhead emblazoned with "USA" and "Canada".

Uncirculated condition. Limited production. Available individually, in tubes of 20 and boxes of 480 coins.
